Far superior in picture quality to the older DVD version. Decent price for a Japanese import.
1 of 1 found this helpful The picture and sound quality of the Blu Ray version of The Blue Max is far superior to that of the DVD version I also own. The only way you can get this title on Blu Ray in the USA is via an import Blu Ray (there was a limited edition Blu Ray released domestically back in 2014 but copies are extremely expensive in the 100.00 range). Fortunately, the Japanese issue is in the same Region Encoding as the USA so it plays on any USA market Blu Ray player and the price was reasonable for a brand new sealed Japanese import.
