Great replacement, and a lot cheaper then the bike store.
The gear shifter on the right side broke, but the cable connections were fine. This replacement part fit right under the hand brake lever and the cable threaded right thru to the rear where it connected to the sprockets. Small adjustment and back on the road!

Transaxle replacement on rear wheeled drive Toro mower.
This transaxle is difficult to remove from the mower housing, but easier to install. Just be careful removing the retaining clips at both ends of the axel that hold the gear. These clips are similar to “C” clips; I broke one when removing it, and went to the local toro dealer for replacement. It was thicker than the original and would not lock on, but a quick trip to Lowe’s @ $0.78 vs the toro dealers $2.98 solved the problem.
I’m very handy with a full tool chest and patience to work on small parts, but unless you are very adapt at repairs - leave it to someone else!
