Beautiful Colnago World Cup frame - went with Alum for this one - crashing on a cyclocross course is a pretty common event !
Aluminum can take a pretty hard crash compared to carbon - so I went this route, a bit heavier - but with the right wheels, that saves a lot of weight.

Haynes manuals fall short on content
This manual ( like most ) Haynes manual have shortcomings, heavy on engine rebuilding, but when I go to find specifics on my 1988 chevy s10 with efi, the diagram of the engine is a CA emissions equipped carb'd version, with a listing on components ( a, b,c, etc.. ) which refer to the items on the 4.3L v-6 page.
While I find some useful information in it, my go to is the factory service manuals that I purchased and when I cannot find exactly what I need I try to cross reference to the Haynes as a backup.
I am looking for the Chilton's for my vehicles, as they seem a bit more detailed to my liking.
