So Far So Good

Thus far no problems with them, or at least the kids have not complained one of them has not worked yet.

Mostly the same

It functions mostly the same other than it shuts itself off in 5 minutes and there is no way to change that. Our original does not. We find it annoying, but likely unavoidable.

Not what it used to be

I have used KitchenAid stand mixers in the past, and they are not what they used to. Mine did not even come with the spring on the blade shaft that keeps the blade in place any more. The blade does not touch the side of the bowl when mixing (it does when there is not food in the bowl). It also does not seem like it has the power it used to. I used a 250 watt one 20+ years ago and it struggled less than the new ones do when mixing thick cookie batter or cream cheese. I sadly can not recommend this product any more
