Gorgeous
I don't play alot of computer games, but I'm an Alice fanatic.. so I was reading an Amazon review for The Looking Glass Wars and a reviewer commented that the book would have been good if American McGee had orchestrated it. Upon searching for American McGee, i discovered that it wasn't a book, it was a game. At first I was dissapointed, but honestly I wouldn't change the current setup for anything. Best game I've ever played. Not only is it gorgeous(and believe me, it is gorgeous- the levels are all different)but the level of inherent wierdness perfectly complements the Alice books. Anyway, I love it, and I got it here for about $12. You should be warned, though,that the game's not so good about playability. I never got far enough to consider this an annpyance, but if you judge games primarily on their playability, you might not want to buy this.

Should watch it at least once. Don't know that it's a good purchase.
1 of 1 found this helpful The first time I watched this, I found it half cringeworthy, half intriguing. It's a bit too deliberately salacious and overly dramatic at times; and the film only shows the pivotal moments in each of the relationships between the characters, it loses out on some opportunities for having more emotional depth. If you like dramas that explore themes relating to sexuality and relationships, though, there are definitely aspects of this movie that are also very interesting about it. Clive Owens' and Natalie Portman's characters are definitely the stronger characters in this film, which is probably why they both won Golden Globe Awards and Academy Award Nominations as the supporting actors in this film.
