It doesn't seem as sturdy as the oem belt. Time will tell.

Knives for dewalt 734 planer set of three
2 of 2 found this helpful These blades don't seem to stay sharp very long. I planed eight hardwood boards and they are already dull on one side. The carbide blades I ordered last time did not stay sharp much longer.

Don't buy this tool unless you enjoy being frustrated.
This tool is a joke. It doesn't remove enough material off of the planer knives before a groove is worn in the sharpening stone. I would not recommend it to anyone. You are better off to buy new blades and eliminate the frustration of trying to use this thing. There are no instructions sent with the tool on how to use it either.
