Amazing Sound! Cheap Plastics.
3 of 6 found this helpful About 10 hours or about a dozen LPs in and I'm truly in love. Granted this is replacing an ancient Audio Technica with a horribly worn down cartridge, still, thrilled with the subtleties, nuances, and clarity in all of the recordings. I'm now having to eq quite a bit more to get the most from the clear crisp sound, but it's totally worth it and fun. I'm running this TT through a Bellari VP130 into a Denon AVR-1508 out to a pair of Zu Audio Dirty Weekends. Another disclaimer, I upgraded to the Ortofon Blue. No idea what the stock red sounds like.
My only gripe... Cheap build quality for the price, all the plastics are cheap. And as people have mentioned the anti-skate weight is fiddley and odd. It connects at too extreme of an angle, maybe a different attachment method would keep it from dropping so much. Also, dust cover warped in on the sides upon arrival, working with the dealer to resolve this issue.
All in all very pleased but definitely a pain in the wallet for build quality.

Cheap but serviceable
Cheap, but seemingly accurate. Sound has improved with the tracking force adjustment I made so worth the few bucks I spent.
