Be Careful of Depth- Description is misleading 14" MAX usable depth
13 of 13 found this helpful The product is great, it has its oddities and setup isn't the best, but all in all, it's good for the price. The issue I have is the depth. They state there's 16" of usable depth- this is not true what-so-ever. There is BARELY 14". If it wasn't for my cage nuts, my 14" deep shelf wouldn't have fit. It literally hits the back of the cabinet. Unfortunately for me, I made my decision on a SuperMicro 1u Chassis based off the depth of the stated "16" Usable Depth". The Chassis is 14" deep.. Doesn't work at all. It now cannot be used as a wall mounted enclosure, I will have to cut the back in order for my server to fit and sit it on the ground or stand. Trust me, if I didn't have an issue with the depth, this is a home run. it looks great and for the money, you can't beat it. But they NEED to change the description, because it's flat out wrong.
