Defective item
1 of 1 found this helpful This item was advertised as new, not in original packaging. I inspected the item and noticed that the gripping teeth looked a little different but I attempted to use it anyway not being an expert on Shark Bite fittings. When the water was turned on the fitting slipped off of the PVC pipe. Tried it a second time ensuring it was fully seated. It slipped off a second time. I honestly believe this was a used item and was therefore advertised wrong
