About

I grew up in Alabama with my parents on our farm . We raised most of what we ate , including beef , pork , and chickens plus a big vegetable garden .
We didn’t throw away much of anything , repairing things and kept using it .
We weren’t rich in anything except love of God , family , and country .
A hard life but a good life , I wouldn’t change anything about it if I could .
I long for the more simple lifestyle we seem to have left far behind !
