Doesn't work

Got it in the mail, plugged it into the computer, and it wasn't detected. The power lights were on and the fans were spinning, but nothing on the monitor. I tried updating drivers, checking the input and everything, but nothing happened. There better be a way to solve this problem or it will stay on one star. They say in the description that it works perfectly.
