These boots are a wonderful horse accessory to have on hand. One never knows when your horse will require these ice boots. Horses like humans get leg injuries and you have to have the right equipment to handle a medical problem. Because horses are riding animals their legs and feet have to be well taken care of to handle any weight put on their back. Kind of like a human being with their hands; our hands are our livelihood. We'd be in trouble and/or quite limited as to what we can do without our limbs: same with a horse.
