Thermal Fuse Replacement kit 8193762
This kit is easy to install and fixes the problem of thermal fuse failure in many Whirlpool and Kenmore dishwashers. If your dishwasher just goes dead like mine did, then the thermal fuse is likely the problem. Now you may think logically (like I did) that the fuse failed, as designed, due to another problem with the appliance. But this is not so likely. It turns out these fuses fail prematurely due to an issue involving the wiring of the fuse. This kit resolves that issue by providing additional wire to reduce tension on the fuse connectors. It was easy to replace. Also, there are YouTube videos to assist. This kit cost 2/3 of a similar kit I could purchase locally. I am very pleased. My dishwashers has worked well since the fuse was replaced. Get the kit, don't just replace the fuse, or it may well happen again soon.

This filter assembly has good structural support of thick card stock. The filter media looks similar to other name brand filters.
