For its price it is fantastic.
1 of 1 found this helpful I had read reviews prior to purchase, and had seen that the primary reason for sub 4 star reviews was because of how long it lasted (people kept saying 5 minutes at most), but that is what these little things are meant for. Easy, light, and small plus a strong suction for dry dust/dirt.
I use this to clean up the litter cats track onto the carpet and around their box/mat as well as any other dry dust/dirt issues. I went over the entire bedroom without turning it off and it was still going strong, but was full (don't judge lol), emptied it and cleaned some more small things up.
Summary: a compact dirt devil ("dust buster" from when I was growing up) is meant to operate as a quick fix up, not your entire home's vacuum. 5 minutes, or more in my case, is much longer than you should have one of these running without turning off. IF you need more than that time you need a plugged vacuum because you're not doing a "quick clean up" as these types of devices are intended for.
