Why set your alarm or worse, not set and forget you left the water on
Very simple, easy to use. Beats setting your alarm and going back out to shut off the water. Simple to use, and can set it to the ON position for washing the car or whatever when you don't want or need the timer. No battery to have to replace, totally manual, but that was all I wanted and needed.
