Well Built and Simple to Use
4 of 4 found this helpful I had over 3000 slides to convert to digital. This machine was exactly what I needed. The resolution is far superior to that of a "Copier Scanner". It is fast, takes about 2 to 3 seconds to scan the slide. There is no tray to load and unload. You simply feed the slides thru. NOTE: Most slides are rectangular in shape. Always feed the slide length wise or you will cut off part of the image. You can always rotate the image after it has been uploaded to your computer. Many of my slides are over 40 years old, some had darkened with age. I was able to lighten them using the Wolverine. One slide in particular it was so dark you could not recognize facial features. The Wolverine was able to lighten the image to the point where you can see our faces. I would scan a dark slide using 3 or 4 settings. Then when they were uploaded on my computer I was better able to edit them. The same procedure can be used to darken the image. Old flash cameras often would wash out the foreground. I was able to darken them using the Wolverine. I bought an 8 gig memory card for the unit and can easily scan 600 to 800 slides at a time before uploading to my computer. The function keys on the Wolverine are easy to use and direct. I am almost finished scanning my slides, soon it will be on to the thousands of negatives I have stored in boxes. I am absolutely thrilled with this product and have recommended to family and friends.
