Beetle owners alert

Seems to be a solid tool, and may work on other vw products. But I got it for a vw beetle, and it is much too thick for the narrow space between the motor mount & the tensioner pulley on my 2 ltr. beetle. Pins are spaced correctly, but cannot access pulley with engine mounted in the car.
