DIY Electric Guitar Kit Double Cut Build Your Own Guitar Kit

Very nice kit, happy with results

I was nervous buying this as I didn't want to spend a lot of time and money for a guitar that wasn't playable. Totally worth it IMO. Kit came with all parts, packaged "ok" but there wasn't and dents or scratches. Could have been bad if delivery was rough. I was skeptical on how the stock humbuckers, pots, switch etc was going to be. Figured I could swap out as necessary. I used everything stock except the switch and knobs. I painted the humbucker rings to match black. NBD. Sounds great, action is wonderful. Neck was straight on, had 5 frets that were a hair high. No problem. Neck angle was dead on, glued in with no issues. All holes and cuts were precise and Dead on. Very impressed with the CNC work. Tuners are meh, won't know for sure till strings are stretched, probably passable for casual use. Overall happy with the build. Only changes I would make with current experience would be to use a different clear coat. This one was tru oil and it's just time consuming. 17 coats later. Minus 1 star because there was a bit of glue on the vinear top and it's very thin. Had to use extreme caution not to sand through. Also packaging of body and neck could have been better. Also components are pretty cheap.

Perfect fit

I needed to replace nut on a strat kit I play. Perfect fit and sounds great. String notch is a touch big, but works great.
