The Alamo
1 of 1 found this helpful Another good John Wayne movie...ofcourse, the best part of all the Alamo movies is the famous battle scene at the end. Maybe, one day they will have the guts to make an Alamo movie with "greater" historical accuracy (like Crockett dying after surrendering to the Mexicans). However, this is one of Wayne's finest. Highly recommend.

An excellent historical document
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a very insightful and excellently written book. It is a must have for any one interested on how our country started, and how it continues to work. There are many scandals and surprizes to be found in this presidential record. A handy guidebook for the student of history and the enthusiastic layman. I highly recommend.
