Suddenly Last Summer
Classic movie with Elizabeth Taylor, Montgomery Clift and Katherine Hepburn. Elizabeth Taylor is enchanting as a young woman disturbed by a very traumatic experience with her cousin in Europe when he was killed, causing her to have hysterical amnesia. Katherine Hepburn as the rich Aunt and mother of the slain man will do anything not to hear the truth of what happened, even if it means having a young trail-blazer of a Doctor (Montgomery Clift) perform a new and experimental operation called a lobotomy on her niece to keep her silent. The young Doctor becomes the young woman's knight in shining armour and keeps her greedy Mom and brother at bay to save her from the knife. I have seen it before, many times, but you don't see many actors of that calibre any more, sadly... real acting...captivating!

Recipe for Revenge
Charming little story about a spicy little caterer (Carly) who witnesses a double homicide whilst hiding in the kitchen of a friend who is entertaining a new beau she wants to impress with her home cooked meal. The problem is she can't cook to save her own life, so she pleads with her chef friend to cook for her but not let on she's there. While Carly is "not there" and old flame of her friend comes to the house and in a fit of revenge and jealousy when he is spurned by the woman, takes out a gun and shoots the woman and her new beau. Carly hears all of this and luckily, isn't detected by the murderer, who just happens to be a famous psychologist who is highly reveered by a public full of fans. Once Carly calls the cops and reports all, it becomes a task to run her small out-of-home catering business and be safe from the murderer. Enter, stage left, a very handsome police detective assigned to protect Carly from the murderer and from some nasty mail and phone threats she is receiving. There's another nasty admirer of Carly's in the wings and unbeknownst to all, more going on than meets the eye... Entertaining story that includes mystery, danger and a hot little romance all wrapped up in one enchilada! I bought it because I have seen it on the t.v. and enjoy it's entertainment!
