Cut it open

Have had mine for 20+ years and misplaced it. This is a newer model than that which is missing...still a fine (if not finer) kitchen helper into sealed stuff etc.

Older but better Betty Crocker cookbook.

This iteration of the Betty Crocker Cookbook has so many good recipes along with a lot of general knowledge (like how long to cook certain meats). So much more "helps" than the newer, bigger (in size but not content) version. I have both and use this one more. Needed a less used version as mine was falling apart.
