    Internal by pass is better.
    The internal by pass is the way to go. the pumps with a pressure switch have given me trouble in the past, but these last a lot longer.

    locks up
    The liner lock goes to far over causing the blade to jam open. The only way to close it is by prying lock with screwdriver.

    The only reason that i didn't rate it a 5 star is that the hose fittings were different sizes. Other than that they are a very good value.
