A fatal flaw
This product has a serious design flaw. The main, load bearing components are made of molded plastic. When I searched the Samsung website for installation instructions, I was surprised to see a massive amount of 1 star reviews. Reading them, I discovered that with alarming regularity, the plastic components fail without warning, sending the TV crashing to the ground. As is typical from Samsung, they are silent in the forums, offering no remedy for either the destroyed TVs, or replacement mount. The design could easily be saved by milling the two pieces from aluminium. If I had access to CCS equipment, I'd do it myself. Too bad, because the concept, and most of the execution is awesome. This weak link, obviously an ill conceived attempt at cost savings, ruins the entire concept.
