Great Reception!

Have used the popular 3M/Made in China units in the past. Compared to those, this unit is light years ahead in reception sensitivity and sound quality. It has twice as many presets available and feels more comfortable when wearing them. I found a used pair in excellent condition on eBay for less than half what a new set costs. Knowing the quality of sound and reception of weaker signals these have I would not hesitate to spend more on another pair should the need arise!

Same but with light.

It's used the same as the issued remote with backlighting. It never was designed well. I never liked button placement. THE RECORD AND GUIDE BUTTONS ARE TOO CLOSE TOGETHER! Can't count the number of times I had to delete programs I accidentally hit record on when all I wanted was the guide. Numbers are not delineated enough for no look operation in my view. The unit works as it should. Overpriced for just some back lighting.
