G2 Axle & Gear Hammer Differential Cover 40-2021ALB

Awesome!!!

Summit Racing and G2 Axle & Gear rock! I bought this G2 Axle differential cover for my 2003 Silverado 1500 RWD with 8.6" ring gear & Eaton RPO G80 Gov-Lock differential. The cover fit perfect and looks awesome. This cover is high quality and well designed. Very impressed with the black powder coat finish. I also bought the lube-locker gasket which made the installation even easier not having to deal with the RTV sealant. I used the Royal Purple Max-gear 75W90 fluid and it took just a little over 2 qts. to fill up to where the fluid started to come out of the overfill hole. Love that overfill hole so you know exactly how much fluid to put in. The only issue was that the cover came with 5/16"x1" long SAE bolts, but my truck takes the 8mm metric thread bolts. I contacted G2 Axle Tech directly and their customer service rep Steve had their manufacturing division send me out the 8mm bolts that I needed at no charge. They sent me some really nice 8mmx30mm long Stainless Steel Allen head bolts. WOW, now that's great customer service! I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Thank you Summit Racing and G2 Axle! You guys rock!
