Better Than Expected
Bought this for a friend here recently. Works good. Am controlling a set of fluorescent lights under the carport about 90 feet away. Please note to others who may be interested. Want great range? The outlet at the carport is about five feet above the ground in my case. I can actually take the remote outside and get about 120 feet range. So if one is not getting the desired range I would highly recommend attaching the receiver unit to an extension cord and securing it several feet above the ground, the higher the better.

Rugged Phone
1 of 2 found this helpful The good:
1. This is a tough little phone. The case makes use of hard rubber. Have seen some documentation stating that it could be dropped from 5 or 6 feet without damage. Probably so, but I am not curious enough to do so.
2. Also there is documentation stating that it is capable of surviving underwater for up to 3 feet or so. Again I did not test it, nor do I intend to.
3. It definitely has the loudest ringer I have ever heard in a cell phone. Would be great for someone who is hard of hearing. The speakerphone has lots of volume, but will really put a dent in airtime if used extensively.
4. No, it is not a smart phone. But it is Internet capable. I use it for stock quotes using already established bookmarks. Not suitable for video or reading long news articles on a small screen.
The not so good:
1. It is a little bit bulky and definitely weighs more than your average flip phone.
2. If you're thinking about installing your own ring tones, forget it. It's definitely not friendly in that regard. My computer does not recognize the phone when attaching a USB cable. I have also tried various computer CDMA interface programs still to no avail. Windows can never seem to find a driver for this phone either.
Overall I would say it deserves a B rating.

Exact Match Fit Perfectly
I have what is now very rare General Electric refrigerator with the ice and water dispenser built into the top freezer. I was never a big fan of side to side. This refrigerator has one door for the freezer, one door for the regular refrigerated food items, not frozen. It's a 12-year-old refrigerator.
Recently the actuator pad had become brittle in its old age and when one would access water or ice, you could not shut off the dispenser without a big hassle. At one time I thought about removing the actuator pad and letting things ride, though cosmetically not so appealing. The original part was white and I looked on the Internet and it was very much available in black. I looked very deeply for white one and I was extremely lucky to find this one. Looking now it looks like black is the only color available. So those with white refrigerators looking for a white actuator pad may be out of luck unfortunately.
It works perfect in every way, soft and rubbery. I am very pleased.
