Best DX telephoto lens
9 of 9 found this helpful It's sharp, fast focusing and cheap. Great for sports. Mostly plastic, so it's not going to take a lot of beating around. But make sure your camera is compatible before buying. Only the latest bodies like the D3400 and D7500 allow you to turn off the VR. On other bodies, like the D7200, you have to update the firmware or the lens loses focus when the meter powers off. This lens won't work at all on older models. But if you've got a compatible body, there's no better choice for the money.
