KitchenAid MIxer

I love this KitchenAid mixer, purchased for my vacation property. It is my second KitchenAid mixer, the first still in use after 31 years. The only thing I have ever had to replace on the original mixer is the enamel covered beater bar. Although this mixer was missing the beater bar and the attachment cover, both pieces were easy to find and replace for a small price. This mixer is easy to use, easy to change mixing utensils, very sturdy and durable. I love the tilting mechanism because it makes the mixing bowl and utensils easy to remove/change. Given the choice, I will never change to another appliance!

Forgiving the Dead Man Walking

I bought this book after listening to a radio interview with Debbie Morris. Her story impressed me and I wanted to know more. This is a great book for anyone who might be going through a difficult time forgiving someone who has wronged them. The forgiveness that Debbie found for the man who raped her was supernatural, but not instantaneous. I would like to have had an update on her former boyfriend who was also a part of the crime, but the book is not about his journey, but hers.
