Everything you'd expect from new old stock.
Well, it's a genuine Kawasaki side cover for the Kawasaki Police 1000... It's everything you'd expect from that... It's very well preserved. The metalic portions of the decal still has a gold mirror like finish, and it's pristine. I mean, what more can you ask for from NOS parts?
It slotted right in in place of my old side cover that was broken apart and glued back together some time while the bike was still in police service. I guess a little bit of superglue is preferable to a police department than buying a whole new part. Personally I prefer pristine parts, and that's what this is.

Didn't do what I bought it for, don't need it for any other purpose.
It was unable to extract the bolts I needed to extract. I do not know if it was the extractor bit set's fault or not, but all it did was polish the hole in the bold. It was a 17 year old stainless steel exhaust bolt/stud in an aluminum cylinder head. In the end, I had to have the bolt drilled out, the hole welded back solid, and then retapped back to specs.
It might work better in applications where what you're removing doesn't have 17 years of galvanic corrosion holding it in place, but I can't speak to that.
