Only 4:3. No widescreen
The production is excellent! Everyone knows this. It s the format!!! The sound has been enhanced but it is in 4:3 and not widescreen. Seems it should have the widescreen option just like all other recent DVD formatted releases.

Not really as it seems
1 of 1 found this helpful Pos,- Greatly detailed re enactors dressed and equiped. There is a short additional feature where a re enactor talks and demonstrates history.
Neg,- The entire series is a non narrated camera following of re enactments groups staging the battles.

Not in widescreen like older versions.
0 of 4 found this helpful Curiously, this set is in only 4:3 and not widescreen. Older versions of this series are in widescreen. It doesn t make sense. All other tech features are alright. No additional features of any kind.
