Stone-simple camp-stove
Having owned a number of portable stoves, these are by far my favorite. This coupled with one of the stainless Swedish mess kits and windshield yields a solidly made and versatile bit of kit.
The Swedish versions are a slightly different cap thread pattern than the more recent "Trangia" stoves, but I have no issues using the damper. The caps will not fit however, and I keep one as a "snuffer".
Do not "hot cap" the stove, as you will damage the O-ring in the cap, and you'll end up with alcohol leaking into your mess-kit or bergen.
Try to avoid using isopropyl alcohol/"HEET" as it seems to leave a nasty residue on cookware. Simple denatured alcohol/methylated spirits is what seems to work best in this stove.

Very nice condition, only needed a touch...
Very nice condition, only needed a touch of faderlube to bring some of the switches back to smooth operation. Quite happy with this unit.

Great model.
The top comes off. If you ever owned one of these, you'll know what I mean.
They even have the back seats positioned right.
