WWI ~ Sergeant York ~ Most Decorated Soldier/Man of God
Hands down, probably the best film of all time. Sadly, the vast majority of Americans know nothing of Alvin York. Even my daughter's history teacher was oblivious! Gary Cooper in one of his best...not to mention Walter Brennan...and other great character actors of that era. Alvin York was reluctant to have this movie made...but he finally gave in. He insisted that Cooper play him in the movie...and the two ended up as friends.

DICKIES FLEECED PLAID QUILTED-LINING JACKET
FOR A SHIRT/JACKET, THIS IS ONE OF THE WARMEST YOU CAN OBTAIN. EXTRAORDINARILY COMFORTABLE...SPRING, WINTER, FALL. THE DOWNSIDE: THEY DO NOT SEEM TO MAKE THESE ANYMORE. IF YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON ONE...WHETHER USED IN GOOD SHAPE...OR EVEN MORE RARE: NEW, THEN GRAB IT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
THEY FIT AS EXPECTED, BUT EVEN THOSE IN THE SAME SIZE (XL IN MY CASE) COULD HAVE SOME VARIANCE. ONE OF THE THREE THAT I OWN PINCHED IN THE UNDERARM AREA A WEE BIT. SO MY WIFE TENDS TO WEAR THAT ONE (BUMMING AROUND THE GARAGE, YARD AND SUCH). ANOTHER DOWNSIDE (IMHO) IS THAT THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA. I WISH DICKIES AND OTHERS COULD BRING THESE BACK IN PRODUCTION AND HAVE THEM MADE IN THE USA.

Unique, High-quality...most comfortable.
You get what you pay for...as the saying goes. I wear slippers as show most of the time (being a diabetic); comfort means everything. But I like style as well...and these are unique. Always getting comments on them.
The ONLY thing sh UGG would do is get some 1/2 sizes. Though these size 10 eventually fit after a break-in period, a 10.5 would work even better. Size 11 (which I wear in dress shoes), are just too big. All in all, these are great slippers...though not cheap.
