    Very high gain on GMRS.
    I can hit my GMRS repeater from 12 miles away with 10 watts, where before I needed 35 to 50 watts mobile with the old 5.2 dBi colinear antenna. Works great on ham radio also.

    I like both of these 8 ch GM300s for a transportable GMRS repeater. Easily programmable on the 70 cm Amateur radio FM repeaters.
