Great upgrade for older motherboards

I had an older dual core 3.1ghz AMD processor in an older motherboard from 2009 that I use as a server for house computing. Recently, I started backing up videos discs and doing some transcoding of files. The computer struggled processing a single HD movie in under 6 hours with average fps around 6 or 7. I switched out the processer with this one and saw a 3-4 x improvement in speed. No regrets.
