'Skirted' wire nuts
When I need/want a little extra protection for multiple #12 gauge wires I prefer these connectors over either 'tans' or 'reds'. I always keep one container on my truck.

Better than good
As an electrician, I have owned several thermostats, and this Ecobee 3 is better than anything I have previously owned. It was very simple to program both the schedule and the preferred temperatures…and I can adjust it from anywhere using my iPhone or iPad. Besides the simplicity of programming, I received a $75.00 credit from the Edison Company, my electric utility. It’s great!
