Product great - CarPlay not so much
Get some instructions online how to remove parts and which ones needed. Only tool you really need is a Phillips head as most pieces can be pulled off by hand. No problems installing and works but CarPlay is really not much better than the Mazda System. The screen for what is playing, Pandora, podcasts, etc it doesn’t even show the album artwork when this can be done over Bluetooth without CarPlay. Makes no sense. Also I want to use Waze but of course when I press the Navi button it goes to AppleMaps no matter what. Also can’t delete certain apps like maps. Also it only works when plugged in to center console. Anyway the hardware is great. I would really be ticked if I had paid a dealer $400+ for this. Hopefully Apple will address some of these issues
