They cradle your foot in a natural fit.
Personally they also improved the placement of my large toe and helped with a bunion.
I rarely wear anything else
The quality is consistently good and I am literally spoiled to them at this point.
This purchase was for sandals (which I love) but when winter rolls around you will find me in one of my many clogs.
Some people say there is a “breaking in time” to adjust to the extra support a Birkenstock provides but personally from the very first pair I bought I didn’t want to take them off.
