I had my last pair for about 7 years. I didn't wear them every day, but when I did, they were great. The only reason I bought a new pair was because the sole was coming off & I needed a nicer pair to wear in public, or at least that is what my wife said. I was able to use clear silicone adhesive to reattach the soles, and now I have a pair to wear for work. after seven years, they still remain waterproof, the stitching is still good, & the soles are still solid, and are very comfortable. Retail price is $280 on the Danner website, which I feel is a little pricey the cheap guy that I am. They do come with a one year warranty.
