New HP OfficeJet 4500 All-In-One Inkjet Copy Scan Fax Printer

Stuck on this printer model...can't operate and don't like any new models.

I can only use this printer model. All new models are complicated. But, when installed, it didn't print some recipes etc. from my computer. The cartridges were dried or defective. I AM also having trouble setting it up properly. Overpriced, BUT, I cannot use new printers. This printer does just what I need: Reduces and enlarges in 1% increments up to 200%. It prints if one cartridge is empty, and has enough levels to darken or lighten a copy. I can only use this printer and don't know what to do when they become completely unavailable. I need to make hard copies of important documents, plans etc., and it is not copying the full document. My last 4500 did the same thing sometimes, and I don't know why. I have to spend another 50 - 100 dollars to have it set up correctly. Too much money and aggravation, but all other new models are MUCH worse to deal with! I hope I can get it to print everything I need from my computer.
