Long hinges at a good price
I needed long hinges and these worked out great.

Not sure i would stay cool at the full 10A rated output
I am using it to drive LED lights which have internal AC-to-regulated-DC converters. This means the power factor is not great (higher peak current when the LED's input bridges are conducting). Still it's getting warm at less that half the 10 A rated current. THat said, it looks like it's going to work well for me assuming I don't add too any more LEDs.

smooth slow operation - low current draw
I bought this motor as well as a smaller Uxcel gear motor to slowly rotate a plastic ripple-glass disk for a moving water lighting effect. I wanted slow smooth motion. Even though this motor is bigger, it draws less current and runs much more smoothly and slowly. I can slow it down with series resistance (not the smoothest way to slow a motor, I know) until it just creeps (less than 1 rpm) and it remains smooth.
