Outdoor use

RCA discwasher gets the job done
Its fine at this price point, the D4 bottle is too small- can't see it lasting long.
I would hesitate to use it on quality vinyl records as its too east to scratch the vinyl with the wooden handle. Also, I would not use it on a quality turntable as the pressure needed to clean the record is transferred to the motor. Use with minimum pressure to reduce drag.

Changing out drain solenoid.
With a small adjustment to the steel bracket it worked perfectly on my 30 year plus Magic Chef dishwasher. I welded on an ear to pick up one additional screw. The solenoid is exactly the same as the old one. I carried out the repair with the unit in position, a little awkward but doable. The springs and white plastic piece are the same as the old. No specialty tools required.
Remember to disconnect the power beforehand.
