Does not accept regular SAS/SATA drives.

It's not clear from the pictures, but this is not a normal SAS backplane. This requires special drives or interposers such as HP Model AW555A's. You will not be able to use a regular HP SAS/SATA sled with these. The cost of the interposers is so high it's not worth it. The sticker on the unit says it's a fiber-channel array (FCLSE-0801).
