Great stuff
I have read a previously collection of his journalism but this one is very frank and decisive on a wide range of topics cultural topics. His thoughts on writers such as Kipling, Eliot, Waugh, Joyce, Tolkien and Woolf are very illuminating and expressed in the clearest of language.
