DEWALT 583048-01 DW3311 Flush Cut Jig Saw Blade Wood Cutting Blade Metal T-Shank

does its job

If you need to make a cut right to the edge of something, then get out your jigsaw and use this blade. I had to cut some studs out for a pocket door and leave one side of the wall- normally a pain in the a** but made painless by this blade. Knowing it existed, I went searching and found it. Don't know about other T-Shank jig saws, but it's a perfect fit in my Dewalt cordless reaching right to the edge of the shoe. Starting a cut with this blade is somewhat iffy if accuracy is needed so practice and/or be careful. I just started the cut with my circular saw or a regular jig saw blade far enough in so the shoe had some purchase. Quality is excellent and the thickness really helps stability. The two extra "bonus" blades were a nice surprise. Sometimes a one trick pony is exactly what you need.

Great wire nut alternative

Originally designed for lighting displays where fixtures are changed often, these connectors greatly simplify fixture hookup. Solid or tinned supply wires push in from the back. Fixture wire is inserted in the front by pinching the connector and inserting the wire. When released, the connector clamps the wire tightly. Ever been on a ladder while holding a fixture and trying to wire nut everything together? Get some.
