Why I purchased a senond one?
Having bought a GOOD pair of ear defenders I needed a good product to (a) reduce any potential damage (b) to keep them secure,which this dose. Our grandson also shoots and Yes he also needed a safe and secure carrier for his defenders. So granddad purchased the second hard case.

Reduction of noise
As a shooter (Clays) I believe that one should look after ones hearing .In my case these defenders do exactly that. No need to take them off when talking or listening. They cut out the sound of the exploding cartridge exceptionally well. Having been on a shoot for two and a half hours. I had no discomfort wearing them.
