A steam loco book for the type of reader that wants the one best book on the subject
Probably one of the best and most comprehensive books on steam locomotives I have seen. Lots of facts but also excellent color drawings of all of the locomotives covered, in an easy to read chronological order from oldest to newest. Adults will love it but even kids will enjoy the drawings and easy to read mini stories attached to the drawings.

Top of the line runner.
Rapido has really set the bar for smooth running N scale models. They are on a par with Kato for the best in my opinion. I would buy Rapido models again and would recommend them to friends and family.

Bit of a disappointment
This is the most expensive N Scale model train I've bought, especially for just 2 pieces, so I'm a bit disappointed it's not the best runner I've seen. It doesn't start up smoothly at low-speed power settings and from the box it ran pretty poorly until it warmed up and broke in a bit. Even so it's only at best average. So would I recommend it? Maybe only if you really need a German model on your layout. But I doubt I'd buy another Fleischmann product again.
