PYLE-HOME PVNP4CD Vintage Phonograph Horn Turntable with CD, Cassette, AM/FM
Mine was new in unsealed box. Everything was great looking and beautiful, Read google reviews on item before getting the shipment. Took extra care in mounting the horn. Very easy. Recommend being gentle in assembly. Also the 4 black long screws that mount the support bracket be careful and do not over torque. I went gentle and realized by the force it was taking to screw them in would end bad. I bought 2 quarter inch wood screws and used them instead. The bracket has 4 holes to mount but you would have to bend the bracket drastically so it conforms around the horn feed pipe i did not do that. Mine came out a very strong and supportive fixture for the horn. I love the antique brass horn! I checked all funtions out and they are good. Some of my records though with this needle arm skip badly in the front half of the 33rpm record. towards the middle inward was OK. I checked some old classical records and they worked fine. the turn table has a slight bump i noticed and every full revolution and I cant figure out why yet. It has not affected the playing but I thought that was why my 80's records skipped in the first tracks. I think the stylus should be upgraded. I do not see any kind of adjustments you can make. Overall I love the item. I think I can figure out the shipping on the first half of records by a need upgrade. The items originally went for about $650 from Pyle I think. So I am happy with the high $200's purchase. Sound is great. I also habe it routed to my old Technics amp and 4 way pioneers. That is the icing on the cake!
