Good upgrade for an old Dell Optiplex 740
I bought this graphics card specifically for playing my old games on a Dell Optiplex 740. The good is that it plays a majority of my old games, which require Glide and 3D rendering. For the games that it does work, games run smoothly and the quality of the graphics is good. The bad part is that it doesn't play all my old games. With Madden Football 2000, the graphics are all pixelated and can barely see the action on my screen. Won't work on Medal Of Honor: Pacific Assault due to it needing better 3D rendering, but will play Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault just fine. My Rainbow Six 3 plays, but when moving my character, it's really slow and choppy. For the games that's don't work, I really needed the graphics I could get from an AGP card instead, which my computer doesn't have that slot.
