Vortex SPARC Solar 2 MOA Red Dot Sight
Jun 02, 2022
So far, very impressed
This is high quality and bare bones. It's an improvement over the holosun solar red dot design by putting the battery on the side of the optic, rather than underneath it (so it doesn't get as hot if you're using a low mount). Less chance for batter failure or explosion. Really impressed with the build quality and the ruggedness of the solar component. I can see why vortex recently won the US Army contract for their optics recently. My only critiques are that the adjustment screw had a small qaqc gaff- the adjustment direction arrow was either marred from use/testing or it wasn't stamped in all the way; the other is that there are no options of for a killflash... but it's a red dot, I've only seen maybe 3 or so manufacturers put that into consideration for the design.
