Great Product! Exceeds expectation!
Great little GPS unit -- good bang for the buck, especially for the Linux user. I surfed and checked out a number of USB GPS receivers, and most did not specifically mention Linux was supported. Not only that, but many support multiple data formats that apparently require driver software to change data modes. According to the Holux web site, this unit worked with Linux and they even offered drivers. I have a late model low-end Dell laptop running Simply Mepis that I use in the car, and it got to be a hassle to use my old hand-held GPS because I had to change batteries, stick the mount to the windshield and use a serial to USB adapter, not to mention changing the data format to NMEA for the mapping software I have. Ordered and received this unit, plugged it into the USB port, the power light came on, and after a minute or two started blinking to indicate it had a good position lock. Fired up my GPS software on the laptop, and the position indicator was right on my house. Took the laptop out to the van, stuck the GPS receiver out the sunroof, and ran the computer 36 hours straight while mapping various trips -- the receiver worked flawlessly. If you run a fairly recent Linux kernel this unit should work just fine for you also. Well worth the price.

EVGA beats them all
EVGA is the best performer of all the cards I have which are MSI, Gigabyte, and Zotac. Very high performer and stays the coolest of them all.

These pack a better punch than Samsung 2500s.
The IMREN Gold 1860 3500mAh definitely pack a better punch than Samsung 2500. They seem to last a couple hours later, not quite as long as some reviews.
